CBGT is a Florida-based wholesale distribution business. Our Website serves registered wholesale customers and visitors who browse our product catalog.

2. Information We Collect

2a. Information You Provide Voluntarily

We collect personal information only when you voluntarily provide it through actions such as registering for a customer account, placing or inquiring about orders, submitting payment or billing information, or contacting us via email or phone.

The types of information we may collect include:

  • First and Last Name

  • Business / Company Name

  • Mailing and Billing Address

  • Email Address

  • Phone Number

  • Job Title

  • Payment information (processed securely through our third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers)

We may also collect optional demographic information if you choose to provide it. You are never required to provide sensitive personal information such as race, religion, political affiliation, or household income, and we do not use such information for any business purpose.

2b. Automatically Collected Information

When you visit the Website, certain information may be collected automatically by our servers, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring website or URL, pages visited, time spent on the site, and access timestamps. This information is collected through standard server logs and the built-in features of our order and account management system. It is used solely to operate and maintain the Website. CBGT does not use advertising or behavioral analytics services. CBGT engages third-party service providers to operate the Website securely and reliably, and such providers process data only as necessary to provide their services to CBGT.

2c. Cookies

The Website may use session cookies to personalize your experience and maintain your login session. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. You may configure your browser to decline cookies, though doing so may limit certain features of the Website.

3. How We Use Your Information

CBGT collects and uses your personal information to:

  • Process and fulfill your orders

  • Communicate with you about orders, inquiries, and account activity

  • Send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates, invoices)

  • Maintain your account and customer records in our system

  • Comply with legal and tax obligations

  • Improve the Website and our services

4. How Long We Keep Your Information

CBGT retains your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, and reporting requirements. Our general retention guidelines are:

  • Customer account information: retained for the duration of the business relationship and up to 7 years after the last transaction, in accordance with Florida business record-keeping requirements.

  • Order and transaction records: retained for a minimum of 7 years for tax and accounting compliance (IRS requirement).

  • Email communications: retained for up to 3 years.

  • Server logs and automatically collected data: retained for up to 12 months, then purged.

  • Payment information: we do not store full payment card data. Transaction records (amounts, dates, last four digits) are retained as part of order records.

When personal information is no longer required, we will securely delete or anonymize it. See Section 7c for important details on how deletion requests interact with our legal obligation to retain business records.

5. Sharing Information with Third Parties

CBGT does not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Payment Processing: Orders are processed through a third-party payment processor. When you place an order, relevant billing information is transmitted to our payment processor in accordance with their privacy policy. CBGT does not store your full card number.

  • Service Providers: We may share data with trusted vendors who assist in operating our Website, sending email, or providing customer support. These parties are contractually required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal process, protect the rights of CBGT, or protect personal safety.

  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of CBGT assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Data Storage and Security

CBGT stores your data on servers operated by a reputable third-party cloud hosting provider. Data is transmitted over SSL/TLS (HTTPS) to protect it in transit. CBGT protects personal information using industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, which currently include measures such as SSL/TLS encryption, firewalls, access controls, monitoring, regular security reviews, and automated backups. These specific measures may change over time as technology and best practices evolve.

No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and CBGT does not warrant absolute security. By using the Website, you acknowledge and accept this risk. If CBGT becomes aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, CBGT will respond and provide any notifications in accordance with applicable law.

7. Your Privacy Rights

7a. Florida Residents

CBGT honors reasonable privacy requests from all customers, including requests to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to the record-retention obligations described in this Policy and applicable law.

7b. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) to know what personal information we have collected and how it is used, request deletion of your personal information (subject to exceptions), opt out of the sale of your personal information (Note: CBGT does not sell personal information), and non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 12.

7c. Right to Deletion — Important Notice Regarding Business Records

Upon receipt of a verifiable deletion request, CBGT will delete or anonymize your personal information from our records. However, please be aware of the following important distinction:

  • Personal identifying information (your name, email address, phone number, mailing address) may be removed or anonymized upon a valid deletion request.

  • Transaction and order records (what was purchased, when, quantities, amounts, and associated customer ID) are business and tax records that CBGT is legally required to retain for a minimum of 7 years under Florida and federal law (IRS regulations). These records cannot be deleted regardless of a deletion request.

  • In practice, we may anonymize your personal details within a transaction record (replacing your name with an internal customer ID) while retaining the financial and order data. This satisfies your right to deletion while maintaining our legal compliance obligations.

Deletion requests will be honored for all personal data that is not subject to a legal retention requirement. Retention is also necessary to: detect security incidents or prosecute fraudulent activity; comply with legal obligations; or enable solely internal uses aligned with your expectations.

7d. Do Not Track

The Website does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. CBGT does not use advertising or behavioral tracking tools, and browsing activity on the Website is not shared with outside parties for advertising purposes.

8. Opt-Out and Communication Preferences

You may opt out of receiving marketing or promotional communications from CBGT at any time by contacting us. Opting out does not affect transactional communications related to your account or orders.
